The Futures Readiness careers programme, developed by Alex Zarifeh (Arthur Terry Learning Partnership) in collaboration with Shane McLoughlin, is being rolled out to over 11,000 pupils across the multi-academy trust’s 24 schools. Unveiled at Birmingham’s Millennium Point, this ground-breaking initiative equips young people with a preparedness framework of 20 character qualities, skills, attitudes, and values to navigate the future workplace. Drawing on Jubilee Centre research, the programme addresses the challenges of AI-driven change, ensuring students are ready to flourish in a world where character remains vital irrespective of the skills required by the employment market.
