The Jubilee Centre has partnered with five schools to showcase how the Framework for Character Education in Schools has been used as a source of inspiration in a school setting.
To demonstrate how civic virtues can be developed through social action, Yeading Junior School has produced a set of resources including lesson plans and a short film to inspire other schools interested in embedding social action into their provision.
Headteacher at Yeading Junior School, Carole Jones said, ‘It’s something that schools could look at as an example and try and do something with their own context.’
The social action resources and more information about the Framework in Action project can be accessed here.
