The Jubilee Centre Affiliate PhD Student Dr. Sabena Jameel has successfully completed her PhD on Enacted Phronesis in General Practitioners (Family Medicine), with supervisors Professor Kristján Kristjánsson, Deputy Director of the Jubilee Centre, and Dr. June Jones. Following her PhD viva, her examiners fed back that her work was: “Masterly… constructing an impressive web of connection between theoretical perspectives, philosophy, ethics, medical practice and medical education” and “The overall quality of the research ranks amongst the best doctoral level work I have seen in the field of medical education”.

Dr. Jameel is Associate Clinical Professor in Medical Professionalism at the Birmingham Medical School.
