Deputy Director Professor Andrew Peterson and Director Professor James Arthur recently published the first of a series of new books focussed upon the professions titled Ethics and the Good Teacher: Character in the Professional Domain. The first publication brings together reviews of existing literature and analysis of empirical data from three research projects conducted by the Centre – The Good Teacher, Schools of Virtue and Teacher Education – to explore the ethical dimensions of the teaching profession. Further publications are to follow. More information on Ethics and the Good Teacher is available here.
