Fostering Digital Wisdom For The Digital Age

On 12th October 2021, the Centre hosted the fourth event in its webinar series ‘Fostering Personal and Social Virtues in Education’, presented in collaboration with The Congregation for Catholic Education, Vatican, Rome, Fostering Digital Wisdom for the Digital Age.

Chaired by Aidan Thompson, the webinar welcomed papers and presentations from

  • Dr. Tom Harrison – Reader, HEA Principal Fellow and National Teaching Fellow. He is Director of Education at the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues and Programme Director for the Centre led MA Character Education.
  • Dr. Karen E. Bohlin – Senior Scholar, Centre for Character and Social Responsibility, Boston University and Founder, LifeCompass Institute, USA
  • Professor Maria Cinque – Associate Professor of Didactics, Teaching Methodologies and Special Pedagogy at the Department of Human Studies at LUMSA University, Rome.

A Q&A with attendees was also held which was chaired by Dr. Jörg Schulte-Altedorneburg, Managing Director at Porticus.
