On 14th January 2021, the Centre hosted an online webinar featuring a panel of experts in celebration of the launch of Dr. Tom Harrison’s latest book, THRIVE: How to Cultivate Character So Your Children Can Flourish Online. Chaired by Professor James Arthur, the event featured contributions from Baroness Nicky Morgan, Jessica Joelle Alexander, Dr. Carrie James and Dr. Kelly Mendoza on how all stakeholders may assist in cultivating the character traits required to enable children to flourish in an increasingly digital world. Dr. Harrison is currently leading the ‘Cultivating Cyber-Phronesis' research project, examining how and to what extent character education can help adolescents make better ethical decisions online.
