11th August 2021Resources

The ‘Character in the Corpus’ project continues this month with a focus on justice. The blog and its associated resources look at how justice is treated in texts within the A-level English Literature curriculum, to consider fiction as a medium through which society defines and dispenses justice. The associated classroom resources draw from Gothic, realist, modernist, and post-colonial fiction to provide an array of perspectives to help students better understand justice and the ways in which writers use fiction itself as a space for and means towards greater social justice.

The blog can be read here, with these and all previous resources in this series available to view here.
