Character and Public Policy: Educating for an Ethical Life

The first annual conference of the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues, University of Birmingham.
This conference gathered together interdisciplinary speakers to discuss the integration of character and character education in public policy in order to open up new research questions, new areas of research and new challenges to character, virtues and human flurishing.
Distinguished speakers included Professor Marvin Berkowitz, Professor Kristján Kristjánsson, Professor Heather Widdows, Professor Lord Richard Layard, Professor William Damon, Professor James Hunter and Professor Howard Gardner.
