Centre Director, Professor James Arthur and Director of Partnerships, Dr Sandra Cooke gave a presentation to the UNICEF Central and Eastern Europe Regional Meeting in Geneva on 24th November. The presentation described the work of the Jubilee Centre and its partnership with UNICEF and the Bureau of Education in Montenegro. The meeting heard how the Centre’s Programme of Study and the Framework for Character Education in Schools had been translated and was being implemented in a pilot project within the Primary schooling system in Montenegro, with UNICEF and the Jubilee Centre’s support. Comprising twenty nation states from Uzbekistan to Ukraine, the regional meeting focused on ‘Working with adolescents to realise their rights and build on their strengths and resilience: Second Decade-Second Chance’.
