The Centre’s work through to February 2015 focused primarily on the virtue of gratitude. Previous work has explored: the value placed on gratitude by the British public; the place of virtues in the legal, medical and teaching professions; and, examined the state of character education in UK schools.  The Centre's current work builds upon the existing findings and recommendations and seeks to explore, in particular, the virtues of gratitude and service in the professions, education, voluntary sector, families, media, young people and in parents.
